In a moment of inspiration I got an idea for a new take on “Five Things”, a Blog tag game where you tag 5 people whose blog you enjoy and ask them to tell the world about 5 things that most people may not know about them. Instead that in this game you ask them to tell the world what they believe are Five Things for Actualizing Peace.

The idea is to post your Five Things for Actualizing Peace here, in your blog, and yes, you guessed it – tag five people.

Here are my Five Things for Actualizing Peace:

1. Acceptance. Meet myself and others where they are at right now, within the moment.

2. Stillness. Engage as a silent observer and view the world from my inner stillpoint.

3. Forgiveness. True forgiveness liberates the spirit.

4. Letting Go. Let go of those thoughts and feelings that do not support my highest good.

5. Kindness. Practice Random Acts of Kindness Everyday!

I am a child of the Universe, cradled within the sanctity of our Earth mother.  When I behold the beauty and light of our most precious Gaia, I feel so very blessed.  Suspended within a great cosmic ocean of Love, the Earth shines as a radiant jewel of Light.  Her tranquil blue oceans frame crystalline vistas, sculptured into mountains, unfolding plains and undulating valleys.  Golden beams of sunshine light sparkle before me, illumining Nature's bounty and splendor. Realization ignites within me.   A distant memory gently fades into my awareness, revealing a cascade of pristine dreamscapes. 

Enveloped within the sheer bliss of being, I feel ONE with All That Is.  It's a curious sensation...like being as tiny as an atom, and as an ever-expanding universe in the same moment.  The Goddess is calling... gently rousing her slumbering children. A heartfelt prayer of gratitude joyously springs forth from deep within me: for I am, I always have been, ONE with Gaia, Anima Mundi, the World Soul.

And so as I gaze into the luminous radiance of her jeweled form, I behold the merging of water and sky, earth and heaven - - and I feel the warm radiance of the Earth Mother alive within me.
